Lunching on the Corner

Jake’s company regularly hosts a lunch for its employees and their families. This month, Jake was determined to offer a different and fun meal choice for the event, so he set out to find local catering companies.

After scouring the internet, he still had not decided on a cuisine and was becoming discouraged.  Seeing his frustration inspired me to help out by calling Associerge. I asked my representative to find three different local catering companies that specialize in three different cuisines.

The next morning I received an email containing three diverse restaurants. The first two menus that Jake and I reviewed were local Italian and Mexican restaurants, each with reasonable prices.

The last restaurant was Corner Bakery, which is a location Jake hadn’t considered. The menu sounded the best of all the choices, so that night we conducted our own taste-test with dinner there, and we loved it!

I also reached out to my Associerge representative to book the Bakery and assist with getting everything set up. All I had to do was give her the address for Jake’s company, the date and time.

Two days before Jake’s company gathering, he received a reminder message from Corner Bakery detailing the arriving time and confirming the menu. Corner Bakery arrived right on time the day of the event and even helped set everything up on the tables so each person could grab their meal choices in an orderly buffet line.

Everyone raved about the food, and Jake and I could not help but also send a thank you note to our great Associerge representative!
